Relaxation-Centric Therapy

Relaxing Massage

Swedish

Our traditional Swedish massage focuses on helping you truly relax. The therapist employs long sweeping strokes with the palm and fingertips to help warm the body up and identify knots. Kneading, rhythmic tapping, and vibration techniques are used to encourage healthy blood flow and relax each of the muscles. A traditional Swedish massage is our most general massage: most everyone could use a bit of true relaxation.

Holding Tummy

Prenatal

Similar to the traditional Swedish massage, our prenatal massages focus on relaxation; prenatal massages are exclusively for pregnant women. According to the American Pregnancy Association, "prenatal massage therapy can help reduce anxiety, decrease symptoms of depression, relieve muscle aches and joint pains, and improve labor outcomes and newborn health." We love helping soon-to-be mothers!

Advanced Therapy

Back Massage

Deep Tissue

Deep Tissue massages consist of result driven and detail focused therapy that breaks up scar tissue and adhesion, and releases tension. Slower, firmer pressure is used to rehabilitate specific areas in need. Deep tissue therapy can be used for those who have injuries or other area-specific therapy needs.

Head Massage

Craniosacral

Craniosacral therapy focuses on releasing both physical and emotional tension. Using light, careful touch, the therapist examines membranes and the movement of fluids in the central nervous system. Craniosacral therapy is a perfect blend of relaxing and highly focused therapy for those more sensitive to intense pressure.

Sports massage on leg

Athletic

Athletic massages focus on treating injuries and pain related to intense activity or overuse. This therapy can be used to improve range-of-motion and flexibility for athletes and non-athletes alike. Athletic massages combine elements of deep tissue therapy with specific stretches and joint mobility rehabilitation.
